Accident Insurance Scheme
Group accident insurance coverage for all members of the Nashik Bar Association, providing financial protection against unforeseen incidents.
Details of coverage, premium, and enrollment will be announced after the scheme is implemented by the Managing Committee.
Mediclaim Insurance Scheme
Group mediclaim (health insurance) coverage for members, providing hospitalisation and medical expense coverage at group rates.
Scheme details including coverage amounts, eligible hospitals, and family coverage options to be decided by the Managing Committee.
Junior Advocate Welfare & Stipend
Programs to promote the welfare of junior advocates in association with the Bar Council, including providing stipends and conducting educational programs to help them accelerate in the profession.
Stipend amounts, eligibility criteria, and educational program schedules to be determined.
Vakil Bhavan
Construction of a dedicated 'Vakil Bhavan' to facilitate information and research upon various branches of law, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and IT-based legal research facilities.
Project planning and timeline to be announced by the Managing Committee.
Chambers & Infrastructure
Building, constructing, and maintaining chambers, offices, and buildings equipped with modern amenities — light, water, WiFi/Internet, furniture, and necessary fittings for members.
Chamber allocation, table spaces, and locker facilities as per availability and committee policy.
Legal Aid & Literacy
Promotion of legal aid and legal literacy activities with active encouragement of junior advocate participation. Programs to educate the public and improve access to justice.
Programs to be coordinated with the Education Committee.
Grievance Redressal
The proposed constitution includes establishment of a Grievance Committee of up to 7 members from the Managing Committee, which will handle:
- Complaints between members inter-se
- Complaints against staff members and others
- Complaints relating to sexual harassment at the workplace as per Vishakha guidelines
Additionally, a new Arbitration Clause provides for disputes to be resolved through arbitration with a sole arbitrator appointed by the Bar Association with the consent of both parties.
