Eligibility

  • Registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa (BCMG)
  • Completed the verification process
  • Cleared the All India Bar Examination (AIBE)
  • Practicing in Civil & Criminal Courts, Revenue, Labour Court, Co-operative Court, Magistrate's Court, before any Tribunal or quasi-judicial authority in Nashik District
  • Willing to abide by the Constitution, Rules, Regulations and Bye-laws of the Association

How to Apply

  1. Obtain the application form from the Nashik Bar Association office at District Court Premises, Nashik.
  2. Submit the completed form along with required documents: BCMG registration certificate, AIBE clearance certificate, identity proof, and passport-size photographs.
  3. Pay the entry fee (Rs. 500 + Applicable Taxes) and the annual subscription (Rs. 300 + Applicable Taxes) or the applicable Life/Patron fee.
  4. Await committee approval. The Managing Committee will review your application and, upon approval, you will be enrolled as a member.
  5. Identity cards will be issued as per the discretion of the Nashik Bar Association.

Important Notes

  • Annual fees are payable at the beginning of every financial year.
  • Failure to pay subscription after three notices may result in removal from the register.
  • Re-enrolment after removal requires payment of pending dues plus a late fee, with prior committee approval.
  • Re-enrolled members cannot vote for 12 months and are ineligible for election during that period.
  • Separate registers of ordinary, life, and patron members are maintained.
